Terms of Service & Refund Policy

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hotkey Haven ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hotkey Haven is a radiology macro management tool that allows users to create, organize, and map text macros to keyboard shortcuts. The Service includes AI-powered macro generation features that consume credits.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

Use the Service to generate, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates any applicable regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns
Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single-user account

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Credits and Payments

Certain features require credits, which can be purchased through the Service. Credits are consumed when using AI-powered features such as macro generation and smart imports.

Refund Policy: Purchased credits are non-refundable. Credits do not expire. If you experience a technical issue that caused credits to be consumed without delivering the expected result, contact us and we will review your case and may issue a credit restoration at our discretion.

6. HIPAA Disclaimer

Important: Hotkey Haven is not a HIPAA-covered entity and the Service is not designed to store, process, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). Macro templates you create should contain only generic template text, not patient-specific data. Do not enter real patient information into the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable healthcare regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any macro content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your macros or templates.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not responsible for clinical decisions made using macros created with the Service

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period
Unused credits are forfeited upon termination for cause

You may delete your account at any time through the application settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice.
